CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Chris joined HWA in August of 2010.  He focuses his practice on the representation of banks, mortgage servicing companies and other lenders in various aspects of consumer financial services litigation. 

Prior to joining HWA, Chris was a commercial litigation associate with the Houston office of Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, L.L.P.  Chris was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2003.  He is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas.


CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Chris has experience with supporting and managing a wide variety of commercial matters in the areas of insurance sales practice litigation, energy litigation, real property disputes, and banking litigation.  Recently, Chris has focused his practice on consumer financial services litigation, including debt collection practices disputes, deceptive trade practices claims, truth in lending claims, wrongful foreclosure litigation, and other lender liability and mortgage-related disputes.
